Here at this beautiful home in Medina, Texas we needed to repaint just the ceilings and the wood panels. So we did not paint the walls. We started by removing the existing popcorn ceiling and patching and smoothing the drywall before applying a smoother orange peel texture and repainting. Then we painted over the existing wood paneling with a softer accent color that really helps give the house a more modern appearance while retaining some of its rustic features.
