Windsor Store at North Star Mall – Total Interior Remodel

What a fun project this was! It started with a store space that was accented with wood panels and faux brick that dominated the primary walls. These were all removed, the mounting areas stripped, plywood base removed, and the walls where smoothed out to prepare for a lively solid color paint job. The light fixtures which also had previously enjoyed the wood grain treatment was changed to match the lighter and more inviting color of the walls. These simple but drastic changes really transformed the main retail floor.

Additionally, two dressing rooms in the back which were housed in private rooms on either side, complete with standard doors and drywall, were completed removed. The walls were knocked down and this noticably provided a more open space. The massive glass/mirror panel that was mounted to the back wall in between the two former dressing rooms was also removed to maximize space. This was filled by the store staff with several changing stalls. There were a number of unique challenges to this project, but nothing our skillfull, hard-working professional painters couldn’t handle.
